As long as I remember  I was happily lost in the realms of sounds and music. Highly abstract, floating in space and time, endless emotional tonalities and possibilities to express yourself:

from sublimity via vitality to unease, or even deeper down the rabbit hole — from wonder to transcendence to tenderness to nostalgia to peacefulness to energy to joyful activation to tension to sadness.*

As a composer you are an architect of emotions:

music and sounds can evoke complex and even contradicting feelings in our limbic system  — a set of brain structures which are involved in many of our emotions and motivations that are related to our survival: from feelings of pleasure like sex and eating to fear and anger.

From campfire guitar sessions to songwriting to  the production of soundtracks — this is the fascinating basis of the magic of music.

Cinema and immersives spaces can not exist without music: "The sound and music are 50% of the entertainment in a movie" as George Lucas put it.

The limbic system also aids the formation of memories.  Maybe that's why music makes us dream, time travel  and helps us get lost in memories we didn't know we had.

Let the sirens sing.
