ABOUT
SEBASTIAN M. PURFÜRST (*1976) is a Berlin based composer and visual artist for new media. The main focus of his work is the creation of immersive rooms enriched with videos, music and soundscapes.
He is particularly focused on the intersection between audio and visual perception, and takes great pride in engineering a strong connection between the two.
He is a prolific songwriter, having produced a host of soundtrack compositions for immersive spaces, time-based media formats, such as trailers and radio plays and for stage productions and performances.
As a result of his success in professional and artistic spheres, he has also been invited to guest lecture for universities such as the Royal College of Art in London and Universität der Künste in Berlin, among others.
He is the creative director of LEM-Studios ,a collective of audiovisual artists and media engineers. At the forefront of this fertile crossover between sound, movement and performance, Purfürst is passionate about creating strong emotional impressions through his work, whether on independent and commercial projects.

ABOUT
MARKUS “HOSSI” HOSSACK (*1987) is a trained sound engineer and accomplished sound designer, combines his extensive knowledge as a sound composer with almost two decades of expertise in an impressive range of fields, including television, film and acoustic scenography and brings a wealth of international experience to his work, enhancing his global perspective in the music field.
He has a deep enthusiasm for audio equipment, both in terms of functionality and innovation and is highly interested in sonic development, working closely with artists, producers, and engineers to achieve top-of-the-line results.
His ability to combine a creative and technical understanding for independent and outstanding productions with an individual approach to sound installations was recognized in 2024 with the Max Ophüls Award for Best Composition and Sound Design.
Hossi is passionate about the entire sound creation process, from the initial concept and content development to the final production stages.
Over the past five years, Hossi has established himself in his field by being instrumental in the creation of specialized sound bodies for international exhibition spaces, including projects for prestigious names.

NEW MEDIA SPECIALIST AND RENAISSANCE MAN
ABOUT
MARKUS F.C. BUHL (*1988) is a Berlin-based creative developer and new media specialist. He's a longtime member of LEM-Studios collective and a proponent of the LEM-Studios spirit of fusing different areas of audiovisual media.
His extensive work experience in motion design, programming for web and mobile as well as music production has allowed him to contribute to a large variety of projects, fulfilling multiple roles at once if needed. He considers himself a Renaissance man, continuously honing his skills in a broad spectrum of creative and engineering fields.
A seasoned drummer, he has contributed his musical expertise to a variety of productions in the LEM-Studios cosmos.
